Paddy Fordham Wainburranga (1941-2006) was a senior elder of the Rembarrnga people in the Far North N.T. In his younger years, Fordham worked as a a stockman across the vast stations of the Top End, however in the 70s he settled back in his homelands on Maningrida, Arnhem Land. An accomplished painter, carver and ceremonial performer, he divided his time between art making and leading the Rembarrnga in important ceremonial activities.
